I bought a laptop a few months ago and certainly not happy. It is even slower than my previuos laptop only had Intel Celeron and 2GB memory. Surfing on youtube are headache, since it retains the commitment and therefore is not buffering. Even if the signal is far gut.Ich I think that is why it is so cheap. Rating: 1 / 5

I have this laptop as my main game machine, and acting on my desktop during the Christmas holiday. It is the first computer, I found that with Windows 7, and is smooth. After an initial four or five hours to backup discs using the DVD burner (which is required because it is w / a CD coming Win7) I was able to settle and begin to install Software.Apropos, there is a whole amount software pre-installed garbage, including a large number of Acer-related programs, most of which you may find useful. (A few possible exceptions: Acer backup programs, and perhaps the Acer multimedia software.) The lap-top comes preinstalled with Microsoft Works and 60 day trial version of Microsoft Office. AFAICT, is safe enough to remove many of them. As experts on their computers, and be aware of my disability, I installed a set of software itself: Firefox 3 5, the Google Chrome, Open Office 3 1, Skype and Dungeons and Dragons Online.
