I just purchased my Cliq and found out that Motorola has not committed to providing an update to the Android 2.0 OS even though the Droid on Verizon already has 2.0. This is because the cliq comes with MotoBlur, which modifies the vanilla Android OS.

Even though this phone just came out and is brand new, there is no commitment from Motorola to continue to support it.

Mine has been returned for a MyTouch 3G. I miss the keyboard, but I want an Android phone I am sure will get the 2.0 OS.

I will never purchase another Motorola product again because it appears they don’t care about their existing customers.

Pretty OK phone that would be a very OK phone if it weren’t for Motorola’s blocking of Android 2.0. Why bother buying a phone with crippled functionality? It’s like non-alcoholic beverages.

    I love this phone.

It is great for those of us addicted to social networking, and it serves that purpose excellently!

Picture quality was excellent, so was the video, although the audio was noisy to be honest (we were in the park so maybe that’s why)

I just started using the phone and have not downloaded any apps yet, so I will update this review if I have more feedback.

Otherwise, All in all, I am very satisfied!

The phone has great features to offer but with that, comes many restrictions as well. Comes installed with version Android 1.5 (outdated since this phone is launched) software from Motorolla and T-Mobile have yet to update the software to 2.0, which by the way has been out for a while at this point. You will find that you can’t view or update your Adobe Flash player, so that will limit your web interactive features that many sites use today.

Right out of the box, many user have experienced Bluetooth compatibility issues from the go, due to some software problems released with 1.5 and was poor Q.C. from many aspects.

You can’t delete pre-installed software such as IMEEM mobile, which was bought out and is no longer in service.
